My Fake Smile

I'm doing fine
Yes I'm doing okay
I breath in and breath out
I go on with each day

I try not to cry
I let go of my fears
I put on a smile
And hold in my tears

I tell you I'm fine
And smile when you're around
I let it all go
Without making a sound

I won't cry anymore
I won't shed a tear
I've been faking a smile
For almost a year

I'm doing better
With each passing day
I've learned to ignore it
And say I'm okay
