You don't know what it's like,
you don't know how it feels,
I've got all these scars on me that are never gonna heal!
I have to live with them every day.
knowing they'll never go away.

It hurts so much inside,
that's why I've got these scars to hide.
I can't shut it out when it gets too much,
so instead I've learned how much to cut.

I don't know why it works,
I just know that it does,
and now when I look in the mirror, I see the shadow of the girl that was!

Damaged goods, thats what i am.
so get away while you still can.
cos once you're near you won't like what you see,
so trust me its better to just let me be.

These scars are never gonna go away,
so I have to live with them everyday,
and when the pain inside's too much to hide,
I'll keep using those blades to make it all go away.
