The Passion In Wires

Times ticking in seductive ways
The midnight hour is when we play

Finding hope through an electric box
My heart beats rapid within the shocks

Teasing games of no return
Bellow my chest is where you burn

My skins on fire I cry your name
I bite my lips as you do the same

Revealing weakness, is my soul in danger
To give so much to a perfect stranger

We tempted fate to release our souls
We are a sea apart but finally are whole

I taste your essence I beg for more
The fruit is ripe bellow the core

Tomorrow exists in an illusion betrayed
The moment is now where I am not afraid

Tonight is ending as it never was
A spark that flickers beyond the applause

I sit back silent fulfilled in desires
My body quivering through the passion in wires

    HOLY MY GOSH!!! this is the best poem that i have come across on this site! like the first comment said, it is poems like these that makes this site worth while! i love this. . .the flow is good, the words rolled off my lips! it was in lack of a better word perfect! i loved it, if i could vote four million times i would lol

    Experiencing the same as you Eraklis, even though it's not in person but the feeling can be so real more real than anything you have experienced. Passion , true passion is so hard to find..whene you find it ,you just know. Amazing poem one of my favourites. I can't wait to read more. : )
