A vision of nevermore

by Rick   Jun 26, 2006

What a nice little lie "you dont hurt the ones you love"

it hurts me, everytime i see her face
those streaming tears
i know where their from
i recognize their form
it kills me, everytime i think of her
ive somehow become one of her fears
i know this charade she's putting on
i recognize this act
she's running
running
running from me

slow motion, ecstatic
she's hit a level of panic
ive seen these tears before
in a dreamy bloody lore
a vision
of "never, nevermore"

questions, flowing from her open veins
a vision of love has been in vain
a simple phrase of "never, nevermore"
nevermore as a knock on her door
shall we let the blood hit the floor
or shall we capture it in never, nevermore
