Guardian Angel

I think about you all the time, every night I pray,
All the things you did for me, no amount of words could say.
It seems like yesterday; we were laughing and having fun,
Now you are not around me, tell me where you've gone.

Over the years you fought so hard, some battle you'd lost and some you won.
Some many years and so many tears shed with daughters and your son.
Your battles are over now, enjoy it and smile for me.
We miss you eternally, yet so happy for you are we.

Oh wonderful woman in my life, angel in the sky,
Thinking about you makes me happy, even when I cry.
Your life on earth is over, yet still in my heart to stay,
As I go through life you're by my side, helping along the way.

I see you as I sleep, laughing in my dreams,
Your beautiful angel face, surrounded by bright light beams.
They all see you when you look at me, say I am just like you,
When I picture your face next to mine, I realized it is true.

I ask you for encouragement; give me strength to stand,
I know you are here to guide me, with a loving hand.
I know I took advantage, of the help you've given me,
I hope that I am not too late, because now I can see.

You are always here with me; I don't want to say good-bye,
We all miss you terrible, oh how much we cry.
Your son and daughters love you; we will always have a special part,
Of the wonder woman who gave us life, you are with our souls and in our hearts.
