Memories Broke and Bleeding

It's sucking the life from me
Reaching in with fists of pain
Clenching at my tender heart
Only hurt insides remain.
Tarnished promises, broken dreams
Within this empty shell
I sit in darkened labor
In misery is were I dwell.
No hope is brought to linger
It's all been wiped away
By actions of a notion
Who placed me here, in love's decay.
Now lonely are the words you said
A victim of your making
All the happiness I gave
Sitting here and wasting.
Like rotted fruit upon the vine
The stench, too much to bare
My soul is slowly dying
It's lost in time somewhere.
