Word Rage

by Twisted Heart   Sep 7, 2006

So many thoughts occur to me
When I look inside my mind
A jumbled mess of words together
But a simple sentence I can't find.
I try so hard to fit the pieces
That creep within my soul
But like a broken puzzle
The perfect pieces just don't flow.

My "heart a lonely hunter"
It hasn't found a way
To "lend itself to dreaming"
That there will be better days.
With "heart's unending power"
To "lick the wounds" of time
The "corruption of my body"
Gets "lost within my mind".
Who's words were used to "devastate"
"Life's worries" and her pains
What would be the reason
If not to "stop the rain".
Don't "harness words" of "gentle love"
Unspoken by your "hearts desire"
"Sound the trumpets" of happiness
Add "fuel to [your soul's sweet] fire".
Just words and thoughts are raging
Inside my mind they sing
In hopes that they will "seal the deal"
And complete the "scheme of things".
