Motives

by Kristin   Oct 3, 2006

You were always there to help me,
You were always so kind to teach,
You answered all my questions,
and sometimes you gave a little speech.

I was so grateful for your help,
and thought you were so good,
I wondered why you helped me so,
and the other night i finally understood.

You played me like a pawn,
and like cat and mouse you chased.
With a snap of your cruel fingers,
I could be replaced.

You fed me with your lies,
and I ate them up with thanks,
but in the end of our journey,
you'd be playing all the pranks.

Well our journey has not ended,
and you will no longer be in control.
I am no longer your puppet,
and you can't look into my soul.

I can play just as well as you,
and you will be sorry for what you've done,
You'll be on your knees begging me,
for you aren't having any fun.

You will learn your lesson,
you can't just push me around,
for I do have a brain in my head. and I will not fall to the ground.
