You're not in vein*

by Shawn Redding   Oct 5, 2006

Never question twice about you're being here on earth;
You're here for a reason that's bound on something that's stronger and more beautiful than a worth.

A heart like a mother, warm and compassionate;
When it's winter time, you're the cover a cold person is grabbing at.

You should never be unpleased in yourself;
You play a very important roll in life and it requires your health.

Forgive me for what I've done, do, or will do in the future;
I know something I'll regret and that's being without you.

You are the outside to any person thats locked up and want to get out;
You're that flower in the summer time that everybody want when you sprout.

You're a good thing out of every bad situation;
To be what you are in today's way of life, you deserve more than a congratulation.

I know I'm you boyfriend, but not what or where I want to be yet;
I'm 18 years old with the conscious of a threat.

But when I met you, I thought it was going to be me that bless you;
It turns out you going to be the one who blesses my future.

But not you on your own, with the help from a man so strong;
That if we continue to believe in him, we'll never be alone.
