Always

by The one and only[bre]   Nov 10, 2006

Tear drops fall upon the floor.
Mascara smeared across her face.
She runs outside and slams the door.
While he stands in his lonely place.
It was the red rose in the thorns.
The perfect love that no one can own.
But the devil came out with his horns.
And her beating heart became cold stone.
Feelings gone astray.
Now silence is their friend.
They both walked away.
From something that should never end.
Pensive thoughts, when no ones around.
Of what could have been, what’s the loss.
They could never replace what they had found.
Breaths cut short when their paths suddenly cross.
Never forgotten but never remade.
New opportunities pass by every minute.
Their true love will never truly fade.
Passion as deep as theirs is infinite.
