You can ask me if I love him
And my answer will be yes
You can ask me if I would do anything for him
And my answer will be yes
You can ask me if I want him to be happy
And my answer will be yes
You can ask me if I want to be with him
And my answer will be no
When you ask me why
My answer will be,
Because I love him
I would do anything to make him happy
And that anything is
To let go of him and let him be free.
You will ask me if my heart is broken,
And I will answer you with tears in my eyes,
and a smile on my face, yes.
