I laid awake to the sound of the morning
It was a mixture of sweet breeze and
Happy singing of birds...they sang tunes
That made meaning only to them...beautiful meanings

The dawn was breaking...and it broke lazily
But steadily...with guarantees for a day to be born
Even the sun was determined to be part of this day
Life was beginning again

What is all this beauty in nature for
Why do the birds sing to wake us
Why does the sun shine to gladden the day
Is there anything to be glad for

Why does it rain...and why does the green grass grow
The moon and the stars take over the night
Even the night is beautiful
And I wondered...why all this beauty???
