Love Hurts

Longing for something no longer there
Overwhelming emotions take control
Venturing between anger and pain
Emotional wreck has endured

Hoping that this is not the end
Unsure of what the future now holds
Reliving the memories
Trying to hold on to a love we once shared
Solemnly praying for life to end
