Masters Keeper

by Sherry Lynn   Sep 14, 2007

Intoxicated by my masters' love
While my tummy is gently rubbed
Snuggling into a cozy warm chest
Happily laying my head to rest

Playfully dragging shoes
Across the floors of each room
Rummaging through closets
Scratching at pantry doors

Occasionally taken outside
Trying to find a place to hide
Digging in the gardens dirt
Unknowing what danger lurks

Spoiled daily by my keeper
Dancing more as joy grows deeper
As a ferret life is great
Loved in abundance without haste
