Im not lying

Thinking of all that we've been through
I thought by now I could get through to you
I wish you didn't think that I was lying
cause I have nothing to hide thats why I'm crying

After all the years you should already know
that I would never so easily just let you go
Do you think that I would lie and hurt you to
after all this time I wish you knew

That i have done everything to please you
even when I felt there was nothing left I could do
after all our fights and all the drama that takes place
you should be able to see the truth in my face

    What an absolute agonising read you have penned. The sorrow and sadness was very well expressed in this piece. Sometimes we just don't want to let go, though in the end we only hurt ourselves if we don't.

    Excellent job on this piece. The emotion you are feeling can be felt by the reader. When we love someone so deeply it is so painful to not have our love returned in the same way.
