i read your poems, loved them so
i felt a true connection
we started dating, pretty soon
you wrote me my collection

today i read your latest one
nesquick and grilled cheese
i recognized the feelings there
i thought they were for me

that that stuff with jessie was not

for months we've been the best of friends
never let each other down
