I Don't Think You Know

I don't think you really know
how cruel the words can be
I don't think you know
or you wouldn't do these things to me

I don't think you know the feeling
of terror racing in your chest
when you hear the devil laughing
as he strangles the unblessed

I don't know if you are thinking
about the damage you have done
Thinking isn't always knowing,
and you think that you have won

I don't think you really understand
the depth of the black water
as it sucked me under I heard
a thousand demons whisper "We got her"

I don't think you know the images
you've branded in my brain
forget the tears, this stuff's enough
to make me go insane

I wonder if you really know-
I don't think you could
cuz that would mean you did some things
I didn't think you ever would

My baby boy, you're breakin my heart
this, it seems you know
but I don't think you understand
the sickening blood flow

I don't think you know
how you've scared me in and out
you're not that cruel, so I'll give you
the benefit of the doubt
