Dava

I wrote a poem for my mate,

Dava,

not knowing the reason you were taken,
is hard to comprehend,
your more than a family man,
you are a much loved friend,
heaven must be laughing,
with you bringing them to tears,
believe me I know,
you done it to me for years,
when drinking round a fire,
or supping in a bar,
traveling by bus,
or in comfort in a car,
you never failed to put a smile,
on mine your good friends face,
also with complete strangers,
it happened any place,
you'll never be forgotten mate,
I promise you that for sure,
until the day I see you,
and you make me laugh once more.
