They Don't Understand

by Curtis Young   Oct 17, 2014

They don't understand,
None of them know who I am.
I try to show myself to only a few,
But they just confirmed what I already knew.
They don't want to see me; they don't want to know who I am,
I know this will end just like it began.
I'm always gona be alone,
It don't matter if I'm at work, school or at home.
They all look past me; do they even know I'm alive?,
I start to question myself; I bleed just to know I'm alive.
People just push me away,
It's the same day after day.
I see people laugh and smile,
I wish I could be that happy just for a lil while.
