Unchangeable

by Baby Rainbow   Nov 14, 2015

It's long past midnight
and I am wide awake,
going through my new process of prevention,
where I just rewrite my thoughts into poetry,
until all my urges go away.

I imagine myself lost at sea,
sitting there lost in the ocean,
going down with defeat -
no longer caring if I swim or sink
because I've already become
worthless to this world.

It's honestly a tragedy
that another innocent soul
got broken by the savage beasts of society,
then judged on their ways of coping
with their trauma.

Everyone knows
that we all have our scars,
but please do not ask for people to change,
for they might end up changing for the worse,
and instead of purging their soul,
they will cut too deep for the final time,
letting go of their life one night,
feeling they would only be judged
no matter what else they did.
