Tin Foil Phoenix

please.

I try so hard not to cadge,
fight so hard to rid of you.
Mines of little lay to rest,
as gold of millions are the best.
Subfusc ways turn to black,
but color is surely nothing we lack.
From tirades to laughter,
to love and hate.
From superficial layers
and half hearted hellos.
We've loved once,
been friends since.
Yet, our City of colour
still sings me to sleep.

Just wanted to see your face again
Well that's too damn bad
Breaking Benjamin, dear reader
Is never as hard as it sounds

Breaking Benjamin, reader
Like throwing dishes at the wall
How many stairs one must climb
Before he's ready to jump and fall

You told Ben that it's been a mistake
Since the day you met
Breaking on the floor
He never lied with what he said

So he sits there on the floor
Can you see him over there?
His heart beats through his wrist
Blood stains your carpet once cream coloured and bare

Next to you're desk
The one you sit at now
Reading this poem
Do you dare read out loud?

Can Benjamin hear you?
I mean, he's right next to your stairs
How much blood escapes his arm
Before it won't matter how much you care?

Can you hear it dripping down your stair case?
Drip, Drip, Drip.
No matter how much you don't want it
He loved you like he said he did

Look to your left, dear reader
Can you see him curled up by the bed
Still bleeding from each wrist
Heart still beating, looks so dead

He's reaching out his bloody hand
Don't reach out for it back
He loved you and he still does
Don't save him if you want him back

The floor on the loft remember?
He's worthless to you here
But one more sorry for you
Blood stains the carpet, dear

He means it when he says
And in his one last dying breath
He loves you all the way

I watched you burn,
only to be reborn.
Like a Phoenix you're
soul perished easily.
You used tin to create
a foil while carving
my heart into the moon.

Felo-de-se.

Coating eyes with stamps,
I sent you to revival.
Although again I watched
you burn, only to be reborn.
Distant within the ashes,
becoming lost within
dust, you "hatched" just
like before. Only uglier
then usual.

Live Your Life

What has our world come to be?
Wildfires here and there almost everywhere
Pollution causing problems
Cars needing oil, oil needing money
The money that no one has
Stores closing down
Stock markets crashing
Divorced parents is normal
What has our world come to be?
Wars in other countries, life goes on
Fighting to see how many lives can be lost
Starvation in Africa, Obesity in America
Homeless people on the street
Drugs for kids, joints up the wall
Poor needs more that the Rich just ignore
Having babies at age 15
What has our world come to be?

Live life to it's fullest
Forget about yesterday and live for today
Pretend tomorrow will never come
Random acts of kindness leave love in the air
turn the music up a little louder
tell them you love them even when they already know
smile at passing people on the street
give a quarter to the homeless
give a sandwich to the poor
Make cookies for new neighbors
Make brownies for old ones
Take your dog to the Nursing Home
Read a story to the kids
Stay in the shower a little longer
Give your pet an extra treat
Rise against what you don't believe in
Rise against the people that do harm to the world
Thank God for the life you have
Remembering someone has it worse than you

Finished 'Comeback Kid'

Comeback Kid always won,
Always had a hidden plan.
Known by everyone in town,
She even had a 'biggest fan'.

Her mother got drunk way too much,
Father, don't even mention.
They all saw good, in the end,
Comeback kid used all her attention.

Friends came and friends went,
But Comeback Kid stuck with one.
When he left her world forever,
She slowly began to come undone.

Unable to mend that broken heart,
With the news being the final blow,
The gun was already aimed to kill,
When Comeback Kid remembered so long ago.

Comeback Kid always won,
Always had a hidden plan.
So Comeback Kid couldn't take it,
When she was hurt...

By a man.

But all they do is cause helpless cries
When they come you'll know it's them
When they strike you'll know the truth
For behind them they leave a black gem
Sneaky and smooth like a sluth
When you witness the attack in black
Don't be scared by this men
Don't like the darkness make you crack
Because they just think they're justice's patrolmen

The clash

This world is full of emotions,
Like the sea shells in the ocean.
Every shell has something extra ordinary to feel,
Some makes us laugh and some makes us weep.

You need to give a lot, and expect nil.
You have to ignore yours and live as per other's will.
You end up explaining yourself without need,
You can only kneel down and your heart bleeds.

You sacrifice a lot just for the tender care,
You try had and harder to make others aware.
But dear; this is the god gifted life- u all know,
We don't get what we want but what all we sow.

Even after such honesty and eternal trust,
We do get hurt and the feelings burst.
This is just because the unwanted "CLASH",
That relationship looses its charm and turns into ash.

**this about how we feel when we have clashes with our loved ones... let be clash with our parents, friends, beloved, seniors etc....**
