"Love" poetry contest #1

This contest is for everyone who has a poem about love talkin about if you could see urself with this person in the future, and just about anything love could be about.. post ur poems and the winner will b announced Feb 14.. No Absence

Before you and I were stirred
into vanishing trickles of taste,
I relished in your scintillant soul
that gave flight every day birth.

Tattoos and portraits kept
on drifting back to the stage
but there was no reception,
a fictional audience of us.

I swam through your murmurs
and shivered when you poured,
these canopies softened our skin
with wings of feathered showers.

How many can we submit? I am in for the long run, sounds like a blast!

Come on people, where is your passion? Get a breath of fresh air here!

Your the key to my heart

The way you make me feel,
Complete as the full moon shines.
It all couldn't be more real,
The way your heartbeat makes me rhyme.

My dreams are you forever,
I have you to hold, and not let go.
To you I will surrender,
All my true feelings will show.

In my heart you make me melt,
You fill my soul with feeling.
This true love is deeply felt,
With so much more understanding, and meaning.

All the things I've ever known,
About true love and leaving.
Now I know its not so cold,
Not worth the time of grieving.

Its the time we spent together,
All the memories.
When you whisper "forever",
All you think, is me.

Its the way you make me smile,
When you kiss upon my cheek.
Holding me in your arms for awhile,
Makes my life complete.

I can feel your love around me,
When we are deep in sleep.
For my heart, you hold the key,

For some to many years.

And for our love to have no fear.

Truly my only lover.
Thoughts and words so meaningful,
No flaws or lies to cover.

Like a rose blooming on natures bosom Holding a women's pride.

The power to let any woman believes that she's special preserving her tender beauty as pearl inside a shell. His art of expression makes a woman feel fabulous, with open heart we feel loved with treasures depth.

Digging deep I discover through his words a hidden gem, as Monalisa smiling on DA Vinci's artistic realm as he paint a portrait of his charismatic tender heart an undisguised emotions to behold that is filled with love.

His words subsides like a sunrays on ocean's surface. Listening curiously, the sonnet of mischievous waves, each time the tides rush towards the virgin shore with smile on my face I feel his delicate love...

You guys can submit more then one poem. The reason being is that im sure u guys are like me.. and like writing in different styles.. so one poem might not do justice.. the winner will be announced FEB 14.. good luck and great poems so far!!

Beyond counting

You nudged me in white rings of escape,
my fingers drifting across your hazel drops
and forming incalculable words on surface.
I spent years outside during winter's play
to hear the lines unravel with your name.
All these moments I have forgotten,
you've been the presence in curtains,
cascading down to a level
where I let my heart un-knot love.
Among dusty trails of stardust,
the tick continues, for time binds,
without breaking a revealed reverie
in the eyes of those who study love.

Is it;
A worthless feeling that some say is lust,
The first gazing look into that spacial someones eyes,
The life in which you put in all of your trust,
Or a soulmate found in the eternal mystic skies.

It is just a four letter word until someone comes along and gives meaning to the sound of,
Love.

deep down in the core of my soul

and its thought brings warmth to my heart.

and you always remember whom i was,
and even encourages me that i can be
whatever i wants to be.
You are positively addicted to my brain,
and since you shared my life,
things never seem the same.
