Within a minute

At times you accidentally close your eyes
drown within your daydream of purple sky
you spread your wings and start to fly
like a feather you feel so light

within this world there's nothing to hide
there's no argument nor there's a fight
all your troubles can be push aside
as your time is no longer tight

the truth overrides all the lies
all messages sent has been replied
when it comes to lunch, you're thinking korean or thai?
indulging into the cuisine that you never tried

Ever so beautiful are the butterflies
you run around the garden of giant bonsai
you don't want to part from this lovely sight
cause everything here just feels so right

But the light seems to get more bright
colours turn from purple to crimson sky
butterflies starts to die, the green grass start to dry
you open your eyes it's only a minute to five

Office Crush

There she is sitting there
in front of her comp
feeling cold, she wrapped herself
with her purple sweater to keep herself warm

Silky hair, flawless skin
she looks lovely wearing her black hairpin
blessed with a beauty from deep within
she's like an angel born without a sin

we passed each other a couple of times
but neither of us said a word
we didn't even try to flirt
we just kept focusing with our work

I wonder what's going through your mind?
are you stress trying to meet the deadline?
maybe it's time for you to sit back and unwind
clear your mind and sip some wine

though i tried to give you some subtle signs
at times our eyes are as good as blind
we just carry on doing the things that we're assigned
forgetting where to draw the line

Having to sit across of you
I had the greatest view
but instead of chatting up with you
I just sat at my chair and talk to Andrew

Little Purple Girl

Little purple girl lives in a purple world
Little purple girl likes to laugh and giggles
She lives in a life full of bubbles
like a princess she lives in a castle

for her breakfast she only have cereals
and morning soda that pops and fizzles
with the sound of hot steam from the kettle
it gently reminds her of her skittles

her favourite book is Hansel and Gretel
she looks out the window and she saw a beetle
eating its way through the red delicious apple
she quickly records the events on to her journals

as petals from the purple flowers unfurls
she releases her beautiful curls
puts on her black and silver bangles
but tries not to be like the other girls

She's off to school wearing her fashion label
she sashay through the hall just like her idol
seducing all the hot boys never seems like a hurdle
cause she's sugary and sweet just like a model

-Well i don't know if this helps but yeah...
all of the above poems are written by me

Warning by Jenny Joseph

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit.

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes.

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.
