I would just like to point out I am so glad to be reading a poem with a yellow background! I love the colour yellow, and unfortunately it is not a genre on here that is written often. I myself - do not have much talent for writing humour.

As for your poem, I love the cheek from it, the fast flow that clearly paints a little scene, it is like something from a comedy film. We do not get to see too much of the characters and it makes us want to know them more and find out what happens next.

I love the use of misleading eyes, I think the term fits perfectly to a fortune teller and had not thought of this at all. a lot of their work is based on eye contact and the response we show.

I also like your title choice. Thank you for writing a funny poem with your prompts, it did indeed make me smile.
