I'm glad you put this poem back up too. To me this is a battle of "good vs. Evil". I really liked how you put the haiku as the " light " or good side, because when people think of nature, it's mostly good thoughts. And senryus are "feelings" some good and some bad, but here it's the dark side, which tells me some kind of sadness is involved. The butterfly line is beautiful, it shows the beauty it holds. But each good line holds the bad, just like life. Or you could even say, the haiku's are the outside. Showing a smile but the senryus are the dark insides or thoughts that they are trying to hide.
