Beautiful Cassie! If someone doesn't nominate this, I will on Monday! I am out of votes at the moment. I genuinely look forward to reading new work from you, and this didn't disappoint! ".....winter stretches out cool fingers to caress the weary earth..." - stunning.
All the very best and I trust you are well,
    Ben

What a wonderful piece. I love winter and just the vision your words paint for the minds eye are great. I see everything being put to rest for the long winter's sleep.
    Excellent job

And after summers rushing pulse of
life has washed away beneath the
    autumns brilliant rain of jewels
    all that remains is peace.

    - great imagery here, but "summer's" and "autumn's"

    snuggled under natures blanket,

    - nature's blanket

*what a lovely touch that is with the blanket, offering comfort, warmth, safety etc.

by thaws first kiss of spring.

    - again, thaw's first kiss.

I love this poem how you have combined the seasons, the changes, the growth of nature. It is truly beautiful!

    Well done
