A Devil Dipped In Glitter (Collab)

by Ashleigh Skye   Feb 12, 2008

(This is my first collab I did and I did it with someone from this site, unfortunately I cannot give you the link because apparently his account has been suspended :( to bad)

A devil dipped in glitter
is a devil that blinds our sight
numbs all of our senses,
makes us think every thing's alright.

Angel of sin and her deceitful grin
tragically binds truth and lies,
growing shadows blot the moon
as love crosses over and dies.

It wilts away to nothing,
As the devil continues to glow,
Making us bask in what once was,
Ignoring the blackened snow.

Flickering flame gleams in his eyes
death-bloomed darkness upon his wreath,
lovers burn within the wasted years
their flower placed among the angels teeth.

The flower then slowly dies,
as the glitter fades from sight,
for a devil dipped in glitter,
will never be completely right.
