Here's To It

by MC MiraKEL   Mar 29, 2008

Here's to the kids who question their looks,
Here's to the ones who choose friends over books.

Here's to the kids who don't have the brains,
& Here's to all the plain Jane's.

Here's to the girls who have never been kissed,
Here's to everyone who's ever been dissed.

Here's to being young and wild,
Here's to wanting to be a child.

Here's to the ones who have ever felt scared,
& Here's to the girls who are always compared.

Here's to all the kids next door.
But don't feel quite like a kid anymore.

Here's to the kids with no real friends,
& Here's to the fads, the styles and trends.

Here's to hello's, and here's to goodbye's,
Here's to rumors, gossip and lies.

Here's to the kids who are constantly taunted,
& Here's to everyone who feels unwanted.

Here's to the girls who don't get asked to the dance,
& Here's to the boys who won't take the chance.

Here's to the bad, the ugly, and mean.

Here's to just being a teen,
Here's to living life the way we choose.

Because after all, we've got nothing to lose
