Cold Cruel World

by CWG   Mar 31, 2008

This is a cold cruel world
That we live in today
Why can't we get back
To the old fashioned ways

Put paddling and Jesus
Back in the schools
Then just maybe
Kids wouldn't think guns were so cool

Teachers could still teach
Because the trouble makers wouldn't be in class
Children would still have respect
And they would earn every grade that they passed

Our streets would be safer
For our children to play
But this is a cold cruel world
That we live in today.

Wow i loved this...its so honest and i think we should still live this way to..i hate that my parents have to worry about me all the time if we had jesus and paddling back in school the streets might just be clean and safe for us to walk around till mid night or something!! but then again it all changed for a reason right? well great poem((5))
