Lose Myself In You

by silvershoes   Jul 4, 2008

Sometimes I get frustrated
I get cold and bitter too
Weary of this wandering
I could lose myself in you

Do you believe in love?
Deeper than you've known
Do you believe in growing?
Bonds deeper than you've grown

I once dreamed of hugging
Not for seconds, but forever
I once hoped to find you
As my long awaited lover

Am I stepping out of bounds?
Treated different than before
It's messing with my mind
I'm too afraid to be too sure

Do you think of me when
You're warm beside a hearth?
Do you think of me as
Your one true love on earth?

I once felt we were connected
You're slipping further now
I would reach to catch you
Honestly, I don't know how

Don't think because I smile
There's no longing deep inside
Don't think because I'm running
If you called, that I would hide

I'm wanting for you to follow
I need to hold your hand
I'm hoping that you kiss me
And turn these walls to sand

Sometimes I feel misleaded
I get bitter and confused
Weary of this wandering
I could lose myself in you

    This poem is how.....'-)
    It's clear as crystal...
    and, quite well done...

    Also, I think this is a song...really...
I can almost hear the music..
