You have written a truly remarkable poem about the children with special needs. Indeed they are our lessons for us to learn. If we could only open our eyes and minds to lessons.
As for the poem itself, I thought it had a great flow and a very powerful message. I don't know much about all the schematics of it all. But I thought it flowed very nicely and wouldn't change anything.

Funny I should read this one now...I just had a 50 year old Down's "boy" as a patient last night and all I can say is what a joy! They are a true blessing to this world with their gentle spirits and smiling trusting eyes...well written Deanna !

This is beautiful. Really, I love it. You captured the innocence so well, the emotion so heartfelt. Not only that, the rhytm was perfect. I enjoyed this very much.
