Family Feast

by ImmortalKitty   Nov 11, 2008

Come together O Family of mine,
So together we all shall dine.

A turkey all glazed and stuffed full,
While its juices become gravy in a bowl.

Potatoes mashed with butter,
Just the smell makes me flutter.

Fluffy soft dinner rolls with jam,
While out of the oven comes a ham.

Lettuce tossed with shrimp and dressing,
My beastly need to feast repressing.

Oh where is the pumpkin pie,
With whip cream set on high?

All come to the table now and eat,
I recommend you start with the meat.

Come all together everyone,
It’s time to have some family fun.

    Very fun poem! :)
Loved it. If this is what you do for thanksgiving, then lucky you. Wish my family was as fun and spirited as yours.
