Your not worthless to me

Tears slowly fall from my eyes,
As I figured out what I said,
I didn't know I meant it like that,
They were just jumbled in my head,

I let the words tumble from my mouth,
I didn't think about what they might do,
How they could cut you so deep,
And hurt the person that to me, is true,

I know you meant no harm,
You were just trying to help me,
I just didn't like the invasion,
It was a slight sting that made me see,

I saw I hurt my friend, made him cry,
Someone who's special and dear,
I cannot stand the horrible thought,
That he let out a single tear,

I am not deserving of him,
He is an angel from above,
He is a boy I didn't mean to hurt,
His beauty rarer than a dove,

I apologize for my actions,
And I just ask for your forgiveness,
It won't be the only fight we have,
But it doesn't mean I think you're worthless.
