This world is so crazy,crazier than before.We youngsters act so lazy not taking advantage of whats ours.But just acting like fools not using our minds as tools.The things we need we got from our elders.They got mistreated and beat all they did was suffer.We don't even give them half the respect they deserve.Most of us thinks about love and sex our shapes and curves.Throwing up turfs and clicks acting really dumb and sick.Dying over these streets and there is no winner.We are all getting beat because we don't stick together so how will we succeed.We're not each other enemies our enemies are out there.But you cant see probably don't even care.Martin Luther King Jr. died for freedom and what we all deserve so lets show him some love or in hell we will all burn for doing the cruel things we do acting like rips and wanting to be tricks.Aren't you getting sick of this pain you put yourself through.This is all a test so what are you going to do?Would you really die for your turf?Drinking and smoking may feel good but at the end don't it really hurt.Let me tell you my story all my worries.Being raped at seven becoming a Christian wanting to go to heaven.People believed i did things for attention.Started to claim my turf so hard even in my arms its carved.Wasn't thinking of the right things Throwing away all my dreams.Blaming others for my mistakes.Believed my life was messed up because all people did was hate.I started to realize i had to change a lot.With one good person by my side who helped me through my crazy rides.I didn't want my little sister to follow my wrong steps so i took the right turn and led.Its not easy to stop because I am still in struggle but soon i will be on top of all my troubles.Like they say if you want a better life you have to give and take to set things right.They made history and we can to if we just believe in what we can do.Lets remember all the things they went through for me and you.Not only African Americans but for all race too.
We all have gift so use it.Mine is writing poems so just make a trip to your grandparents beautiful songs.We all need to hold on and stay strong because most of them wants us all gone.Malcolm X also died for us.For our freedom,for our life and for each other love.We use to be slaves trying to runaway.This is not funny but real ugly.We need to open our eyes and realize that they have changed things a lot and we are not.But we can only if you could understand.We make life seem like fire and others just makes it get higher.Don't you want to make history doing good things for all of our needs.All you have to do is BELIEVE.Our ancestors are looking down on us.Knowing we're wrong but also knowing that its tough.Our days may not be long for us to do right for our future children's life.All they do is cry and we can at least try.We have a new president and his name is Barrack Obama.Him we have elected so lets stop all the drama.You say you want change so its your time to make a better ways for a better life.Dwell on my rhymes because every month is history month.Time to use our minds and give sunshine.
