The True Dance Of Nature~Monchielle

by Poet on the Piano   Mar 24, 2009

The true dance of nature,
Consists of many things,
Creatures, bright waters, plants,
And various landscapes,
That God of Heaven grants.

The true dance of nature,
Lies in all breath's of air,
It doesn't take keen eyes,
To discover rhythm,
In each earthly surprise.

The true dance of nature,
Exists in each sunrise,
And lives through crescent moons,
Where stars merrily move,
And hover like balloons.

The true dance of nature,
Is present at all times,
When colorful grass sways,
And graceful trees practice,
Their grand shows for ballets.

The Monchielle is a poem that consists of four five-line stanzas where the first line repeats in
each verse. Each line within the stanzas consist of six syllables, and lines three and five rhyme.
The rhyme pattern is Abcdc Aefgf Ahiji Aklml.

I hope you enjoyed this write, this is my first try at this form. I found so much I would love to write about the dance of nature, I could write forever on it, but I had to stay in the form, so I am positive I will soon write more about nature and be more descriptive than this. This was just explaining the dance of nature and where it is found at. Thank you for reading it and I hope you liked it!

`This was quite the outstanding simile, Ive never heard something like this before so it kind of caught me by suprise, but in a really good way.. beautiful.

This whole poem spoke true beauty.. the imagery in this piece was flawless.. "The True Dance of Nature" how beautiful that line is... and to be repeated is even more beautiful.

A very well written Monchielle, I thought you did a great job with the form and proved that Monchielle's can be written about nature as well.

    :]

You made a beautiful Monchielle, MaryAnne.
Only a poet could write this way about nature. There is so much joy and admiration in your words:)
    Good luck on the contest!
