Jenny's Poem

Your so strong, you don't even know.
the people you've helped
you don't even do it for show
you do it from the bottom of your heart
even when the person you're helping tears you apart
but you push through
without even thinking of you

I've seen and felt the comfort you've given
you give people the strength to keep livin'
forget what others say, you do listen.
you listen with your heart not your ears
and that allows you to wipe away their fears

You give to others till you have nothing left
that's when everybody starts telling you what you have to do
when really all it comes down to is,
for once in your life do something for you.

Find the few out there
that are really true
the ones who don't want anything from you
the ones who just love your company,
what I'm trying to say is you need someone
who will do something for you Jenny

because I hate seeing you sad and depressed
I want to see you at your best
where you laugh and smile without it being fake
I owe that you because you were there whenever I would break

But I guess the only thing I can do
is still be here when everybody backs out
without the slightest of doubt
when no wants to listen to you,
I'll be here to listen
when the storm comes thundering through
I will ride it out with you
until the skies turn from black to blue
