The Words of The Wise

by James Bapulah   Oct 27, 2009

The words of the wise,
Impeccable to see,
The teachings of Jesus Christ,
Is who im striving to be.

Lifes just a test,
to reveal your hearts desire,
Will you stick by God,
or will you burn in fire?

Trust in your heart,
the wickedness therein,
Genesis five six,
when man gave birth to sin.

Trust in The Lord,
with all your hearts desire,
do not your hearts decision,
for your heart can be a liar.

Open not your lips,
to speak words full of sin,
Refrain thy crocked mouth,
withhold bad words within.

The glory of God to conceal,
the honour of kings to find,
Search deep within your soul,
delve not within your mind.

Better poor and wise,
lesser rich and dense,
sinful treasures made,
lack sufficient sense.

Lust not with thine eyes,
adultery dwell in thee,
damage to your soul,
like poison to a tree.

Humble to your heart,
refrain from prideful praise,
Riches, honour and life,
The Lord shall add thy days.

The body follows the mind,
in everything you do,
so keep your thoughts upright,
don't follow mindless few.

Slothlness casteth a deep sleep,
like hunger to the soul,
Stealing all your good works,
depriving you conrol.

Wine is a mocker,
Strong drink is a rage,
Loss of control
sin is the full wage.

Bend now on your knees,
and open up our heart,
Confess all your bad deeds,
from ending to the start.

Appointment made for one,
not late thy soul can be,
for death it has to come,
when soul leaves thy body.

These are my wise words,
Take heed and don't delay,
Enter in God's Kingdom,
The day you pass away!
