Scare of The Dark

by Marcus   Dec 12, 2009

Light hide herself because she's afraid of the dark.
Leaving my soul, lonely, bitter, and frustrated at heart.
My emotion explains to her that she has to "come out".
They tell her, If she fights the battle she'll win without a doubt.

My faith even tells her that, she has to shine.
Although she fought dark clouds she made out just fine.
If she waves the white flag that will be the last white I see.
Because darkness will settle in and conquer me.

In my mind the "L" words is slowly being erase.
Words like Light, Love, Like, Lord, are all being replace.
With words like frustrated upset, unhappy and down.
Beaten, Batter, toss and bound.

My life is so dark, I need you the light.
I can't see where I'm going because I can't see in the night!
The only thing I can see is why my life has gone astray.
Because I don't have the light to lead the way.

O My God! I see a shadow, so there must be light somewhere.
I look around the room, Man", there's light everywhere.
I sit and try to think how this light just rose.
And then I found out, it was dark because my eyes were close.
