Beautiful Anger

by Angel1030   Dec 14, 2009

Love was all I felt with you sight
now filled with hate, black as night
You played me like a fiddle
making me small, insignificant, little

Claims of apology in front of friends
but its the same old story in the end
Making the excuses I hate
Fell for this before, nothing is crueler than fate

Made me pathetic to all
laughed in my face waiting for the moment I lost it
burning, and screaming on the inside
emotions clawing and rolling in my mind

Not once did I fight back
letting your work and purpose go flat
the burning flame licks my inside
and now you have no where to hide.

It would appear you had a hard time trying to find things to rhyme. I would suggest for your writing, that you either: Don't bother rhyming, as it gets to be a pain... OR Only rhyme every second line. Your verses are fine, but I found it hard to take seriously with the... simple rhyming. I have this problem myself, but I tend to skip out on the rhymes and just write whats in my heart. I'll give you a 4/5, and I'll keep an eye out for your future stuff.
