Self Destruct

by Keleena   Nov 15, 2010

It stings now, where once was whole,
It bleeds now, out from the gaping hole,
The blade sharp and so pleasing it feels,
All to quickly forgotten as it heals.

Try harder and stronger this time,
Push for the next ultimate extreme,
Dig deep in the flesh, face like mime,
Ignore the mind's hot pain scream.

But still overcame, and again it fades away,
Knolling in the head, find a way to make it stay,
Pacing in the heart, grinding beneath the flesh,
Bleed out life a new way, every day afresh.

Ice cold shocks wreck havoc on the soul,
Violent shivers shatter down the spine,
Disorientated fury towers and takes toll,
Between madness and sanity the fine line.

Blood on the blade, bruises from the hilt,
Empowers acidic thoughts flood from guilt,
Crash and crush, engulfing up all into,
Streaks the vision so the numb will ensue.

Torn layers of peach, above and in between,
Parted over, air flows down in deepening sting,
Scarlet layers reach, out of remnants unseen,
Slices of tissue and organs that shake in sinking.
