SILENCE

SILENCE

Then it was all quite
No bird sang ,not a child giggled,
And no foots steps echoed in the door way.

As silence loomed inside out,
No trees moved ,not a pin dropped
And the music that played suddenly gave away.

When it froze day and night,
No tears dropped, not a sigh came out,
For all dreams have died in a heart so gay.
