RIVER

Shattered and broken as I am
Battered and shaken as I am
Some where in a hidden corner of my heart
When I dream within a dream
May be I ll be bold enough
To let you hold my hand.

Walk with you to that dream of a river
Where the water flows awakeningly slow
Where the wind blows sedatively in a glow
Keep close to you with a silent heart
Gaze at the water as it turns the mind
And let the river do all the talking
