    Kay I'm so glad you decided to post this piece. There are so many things I remember reading growing up and in school that have been taken from the shelves. Are we suppose to pretend these things never happened or existed? All of the things you mentioned are part of history and the era we grew up in. It is very sad that it can all just disappear.

    Now though i dont know much about most of the things you mentioned (not coz i am young but coz of the distance..lol) but it takes taste and commonsense to find out worthy poem & this one is example of smart poem. Very intelligently merged piece.
