Forgetting You

Forgetting You (re-edited)

Deceit shines through oceanic blue eyes, Behind innocence you attempt disguise, Through clear vision I perceive your shallow lies,
Your actions proving to be an evil reprise,

Reeking of vanity,
You caused my insanity,
Escaping this situation my only option,
A change of circumstance proves a positive adoption,

The wool you've attempted to pull turns to fine lace,
Your abusive attitude I refuse to embrace, Alternating your manipulative tactics though you've already forfeited this race,

Hiding behind a deceitful disguise,
You're actions have caused this mate-ship's demise,
Walking down an endless trail,
Using manipulative methods proven to fail,

I disapprove of your crude insensitivity, Submitting to a lonely yet less dreary reverie,
Cheerier than the wrath of your abusive instability,
As your cruelty proves your own disgrace, I resolve to free myself from your satanic embrace,
I will free myself from this painful and senseless plight,
Moving forward with a clearer insight,

With strong will to fight I arise,
Narrowly escaping an abusive repeat, Your mistreatment and disrespect the cause for this retreat,

And as the sun dawns on a new day,
I place my anger toward you at bay, Parting causes little sorrow,
As I free myself from care, looking to the morrow,

The purpose of our mate-ship served,
As the lessons required for personal growth I've learned,
No reconciliation do I desire,
From these abusive obscenities I retire,

Knowing my value and what I deserve, Forgetting you, now an easy reprove,
And as the sun rises on this day,
I remain forever free from your projected abuse induced dismay.
