I felt I'm beside the TV, and the clock's runnning out to 00:00,,,, and then..snap! it's new year. (actually it's different here. the electricity was off when we reached 2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!) :P haha

It made me think of my new years resolutions - and that I have to think of some lol

Nicely done but it's the beginning , like a new lease on our life to do better. Of course all resolutions are soon forgotten lol

--That's my favorite stanza especially "to think of resolutions to make promises that you seldom keep." Great line that illustrates all the things we say we'll do, but never do.
