Strength For the Weakened

by *NiCoLe*   Feb 27, 2012

She walks in the room
Her presence is enlightening
She gracefully takes a seat
Her life Is sometimes frightening

She reveals no anxiety
Her smile is all too bright
For anyone to notice
What lays so out of sight

Sunglasses on her face
To cover bloodshot eyes
This mask she wears so often
Quitting she constantly tries

The taste is all to good
The feeling is invigorating
She does not care for love
Alone she's contemplating

She endures her life alone
With confidence in success
Invincible sometimes she seems
While hiding loads of stress

She stands strong for those
Who can't seem to survive
While deep inside she battles
The reason for being alive

She walks out of the room
And falls against the wall
She drops to her knees
As the tears began to fall

This is a relative issue, but, I believe you beat the struggle, gradually that way than rather being pitied.. Against all odds, victory abounds. Be strong, for a good turn awaits.
