And your sword won't save you.

Machine of Circumstance
who sees and who bleeds

Vorpal probability
Engine of grim thought
He, the arbiter
disconnected
those who judge, judge not themselves

for they are blind

grey-hearted,
heart of bone long fossilised
aching stone
no longer human
misunderstood
and living by the blade

Mechanism, the underwhelming
Possibilities
collected like stones
the goal long sought
and discontent
and punishment
the storm's grave gaze

Who meddled, who sought, who bound?
Who violated, who collated?
that undone capacitor
Rewind: Mine thoughts.
Dig for
untruth, unthought, unheard,
an artificer, knowledge begetting disillusion

Wires under the skin
Cut into beneath
if there is beneath left, as breath does

bind the lightning, relinquish the words
the voiceless power, an empire long revoked
the elder ones;
It speaks through them
his mouth is shut
hands are stained,
avid, coldly burning

the circle of revenge closes like a wound
Martyring martyrdom
the ashes of a sun
long bound
the thousand timeless cuts
that eye of the deep that stared
with the sheathed blade, the falsely mortal rope.

What a magnificent poem!I cannot find flaw in your grammar or formatting, your words flow eloquently, what a beautiful description of mankind and his mortality.my favourite lines.."those who judge, judge not themselves, for they are blind, grey hearted, heart of bone long fossiled, aching stone, no longer human, misunderstood and living by the blade"this part could be a poem of it's own it's so beautiful, so chilling and so perfect!
