Hours Before

by Maple Tree   Mar 25, 2012

Two sisters sang
a melody
so breathtaking,
that It knocked
me senseless,
and led me Into
your loving arms.

I remember
the day well,
snow blanketed
frozen grass,
as I danced around,
primping my nervousness.

Our fist date
had a pounding beat,
such as the drum solo
within that song,
the one the sisters
sang,
that led me straight to you....

Note: The poem Is about the day I was getting ready for my very first date with my now husband.

The song that played that day, and that I'm referring to
is: "Straight On" by Heart

^ lol I can see you here, with your nervousness and maybe biting your lips, checking everytime if it was the wind outside or He...

You and James look cute here, even though he is not in the picture specifically :)
