An inspirational piece Liz,

What I understood from this piece is that there is someone who is straying from the beauty of the light and going towards the dark and it shouldn't be like that because both of you are the same or were raise the same way, and so instead that someone should now follow you and take the right path. The path that will take you both to the light or sunrise. Though, there are different ways in which this piece can be interpreted, but it will arrive to the same message, to follow the right path because it will not matter from what type of waters they are rowing from, as long as they take the right direction then they will get to their destination.

Once again I must say how true your words are. We all know someone who is hiding away and playing it too safe. Your poem was about trying to show someone they need to live before its too late and I loved the message I got from the poem.

I like how you made the reader listen and take note...how we just focus on nothing and when its too late we realise all the things we should have done...
but also I think this is inspiring, to say, come out of the dark, for the sun is shining, don't hide away because time passes too quick

Haha I am cracking up..this poem is something id write about. Blunt, in your face type poem.

It is side watching someone sail to a darkened cave. I've been on both sides of the spectrum. It sucks in both situations, but being the one who states "harsh truth" sometimes helps that othe person...

This poem was awesome in so many ways. Each stanza was my favorite it was hard to pick one!
