The Truth About Time..

People always say that time heals all,
not really, not when you've put up a wall.
When you lose someone you really love, time seems to slow down,
ends up leaving you with a single frown.

When you're with the love of your life, time seems to go by fast,
leaving all the good memories stuck in the past.
Time wont give you back what you've lost,
all the happy times just to be tossed.

Time wont slow down when you feel its going too fast,
you ask "how long will this last"
Time seems to go on no matter how bad it gets,
time just ends up leaving you with hurtful regrets.

If only i could turn back the hands of time you say,
but truth is you just gotta move on to the next day.
I wish i could freeze time and just stay in this moment,
but lets face reality that'll never happen.

So cherish the moments you have and never look back,
because time will just throw you off track.
